In India, where I live, we celebrate the festival of figurines, the miniature Gods for nine days.

All my international friends and followers here!! You might be wondering why Hindus pray to a dozens of God. My personal opinion is that, they all must be humans who might have lived on this earth some long long years ago but with their selfless nature and the bigger intentions and thoughts to save the humanity from its own greediness and quarrels, they might have become Gods and Goddess in the recent history. These figurines have a couple of arms and heads. You must be wondering what nonsense it is. Yet, the statue makers of Indian subcontinent and other archaic civilizations had a peculiar method of making the figurines. Different varieties of actions of a single person will be taken into account into a single body structure.

Lets take an example here:

Lord Natrajar Figurine made of Bronze

The first two arms at the top of the body (both left and right) shows the first step of the dance. Meanwhile, the second set of arms shows the second step of the dance.

It means that, both actions were performed by a single person and the statue maker was also aware of it. He had chiseled the figurine in a such a way that the viewer will be aware of the fact that the person does both activities and thereby not wasting the entire metal/raw material of the statue into and making two different statues just to make the viewers understand that the figurine has a second step.

All are born Humans but their deeds would heighten their souls to Gods

Every figurine you come across will contain a hidden mystery and a story to tell which will eventually elevate yourself from your existence.

Signing off for now ❤ until I come up with yet an another interesting fact!
